The Balatonvilagos Academic Resort awaits its guests directly on the shores of Lake Balaton, in a well-kept enclosed park. Thanks to the sandy bed, shallow water depth and excellent water quality, even non-swimmers can enjoy the water safely for hundreds of metres.
Balatonvilágos was formed by the merger of two holiday villages, Aliga and Világos. Nearly 45 years ago, it was part of Balatonfőkajár and was called Világos-major, referring to the clear skies and lots of sunshine. Its name is also distinctive: Aliga is named after a – probably – existing tavern, and Világos after the light colour of the land.
The village is primarily for those who want to relax and unwind, but there is also something for active holidaymakers who want to play sports – tennis, swimming, sailing.
Those who like walking, cycling and horse riding will find a suitable route on the high shore, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the entire eastern basin of Lake Balaton. The reception staff of Balatonvilagos Academic Resort will assist you in booking all these.

The rustic restaurant can accommodate up to 80 people. It offers an excellent opportunity for family events (weddings, christenings, graduation dinners, banquets, anniversaries, birthdays) and working lunches, small or large “white table” meetings, negotiations. It is possible to hold the civil ceremony in idyllic surroundings, and the newlyweds can also enjoy a free room at the resort. Balatonvilagos Academic Resort offers guests a cosy terrace with panoramic views of Lake Balaton.
A conference room with a capacity of 60 people is available for corporate and business events.

GUEST GUIDE
- Guests can reserve their rooms from 14.00on the day of arrival. The minimum age to register is 18 years. When checking in, please hand over your Identity Card (Passport) for scanning.
- Proof of entitlement to the discount must be provided on request. In the case of a legal obligation, proof of entitlement to accommodation must also be provided (certificate of immunity).
- Rooms must be vacated by 10.00 on the last day of the stay at the latest. The invoice has to paid on arrival. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or SZÉP card.
- The rooms can accommodate extra beds and cots are also available in the Balatonvilagos Academic Resort.
- Room keys and remote controls will be given to the Guests after filling in the registration form. In case of loss or damage to the key, the guest is fully liable. Please return the key to the office on the day of return.

- Buffet meals can be paid for at the end of your stay by cash or card, charged to your room number. (BÜFÉ is open from 8 am to 7 pm. Consumption must be confirmed by signature. No person under 18 years of age may order at the BÜFÉ on their own.)
- You can choose from the "A" and "B" menus indicated on the menu from the menu sent to you in advance, during the period specified in the letter sent. If no menu is selected, the guest will automatically receive menu "A".
- Please notify the resort manager in good time of any requests or comments regarding meals. Vegetarian and other special dietary requirements cannot be catered for. The breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant and you are not allowed to take anything from the breakfast buffet out of the restaurant.
- During the holiday, only the parent has custody of the minor child. No underage children may be left unattended in the resort, on the playground and in Lake Balaton. In the playground of the Balatonvilagos Academic Resort, the use of toys is only allowed under parental supervision and at the children's own risk.
- Visitors are welcome by prior arrangement with the resort manager. Guests may stay in the resort until 22:00. In case of a full house, a limited number of visitors will be admitted. Do not give the door code used by guests to visitors.
- We are able to provide sun loungers for our day-ticket guests if they do not require them.
- Towels in the rooms are changed weekly by the staff. Towels are NOT allowed on the beach area! Cleaning every 3 days or before the arrival of the guest. Otherwise, an extra cleaning fee will be charged. Bed linen is changed before the arrival of the guest and weekly for longer stays.
- Please use the premises, equipment and furnishings of the holiday home for their intended purpose. The Guest is liable for damages caused by misuse or negligence.
- Room accessories and furnishings belonging to the resort may only be used for their intended purpose and may not be taken out of the building!
- Making coffee and heating food in the rooms is prohibited for fire and public health reasons.
- All Guests are required to comply with fire and accident prevention rules. Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking area, which is indicated on signs in the courtyard. Smoking is prohibited inside the buildings, including the rooms!
- From 22.00 until 07.00, please be considerate of the peace and quiet of other holidaymakers. During the quiet break from 14.00 to 16.00, please do not disturb guests who wish to sleep or relax during this time by making any noise.
- It is FORBIDDEN to bring petsto the Balatonvilagos Academic Resort!
- We are not responsible for valuables brought into the resort. This also applies to vehicles brought into the Resort. A car is only allowed in the resort with special permission, as it is not available for all holidaymakers. One parking space is available upon reservation. The car park is not guarded.

- Please contact the office if you have any complaints or other comments, or if you notice an incident or danger.
